Savage Direct Marketing

In 1990, Paul W. Savage founded Savage Direct Marketing, a full-service direct marketing agency specializing in marketing lead generation for leisure/resort development industry.

Paul attended the University of Washington and graduated in 1979 with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. He immediately became Marketing Director of Thousand Trails, where he developed great interest and keen understanding of the resort industry. Paul was responsible for producing approximately 300 tours per week for each of Thousand Trails’ 21 resorts, averaging 6,300 tours per week through out the West Coast, Southeast, and Texas.

Paul’s performance at Thousand Trails allowed him to advance in his career with a move to All Seasons Resorts. As Marketing Director, Paul was again responsible for approximately 300 tours a week, however, he was embarking on new territory, the Midwest, East Coast and Florida.

In 1986, Paul became a Marketing Consultant focusing primarily on the timeshare industry. He serviced such clients as: Winner’s Circle, US Vacations Resorts, The Ranch, Scottsdale Camelback Resort and Tahoe Seasons.

Paul’s pursuit of great opportunities led him to be a Senior Account Sales Executive for a direct marketing lead generation company specializing in the resort industry. Paul called on resort developers and marketing directors to assist them with their marketing lead/tour generation needs including: Shell Group, Kona Coast, Whiski Jack Resorts, RDI, Treetop Resorts and Vistana.

Throughout his career Paul realized the need for high quality, dependable measurable marketing, so in 1990 he started Savage Direct Marketing, a direct marketing lead generation firm. Savage Direct Marketing has been servicing the resort and real estate industry for over 25 years and has been proud to work with such reputable clients as: Accor, Intrawest, Hilton Grand Vacations, Shell Vacations, Holiday Inn, Thousand Trails, Welk Resort Group, Trendwest Resorts, The Cliff Club at Snowbird, Bluegreen, Royal Holiday Club, Westgate Resorts, Teton Club, Wyndam, Pacific Monarch Resorts, Pueblo Bonito and Wyoming Club, to mention a few.

Paul is an active member of the Seattle Direct Marketing Association (SDMA) and the Canadian British Columbia Direct Marketing Association (BCDMA). Paul is also a member of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) and the Canadian Resort Development Association (CRDA) and has been a featured speaker on Direct Marketing Lead & Sales Prospect Generation at annual AMDETUR and ARDA conferences since 1986.
